Tourism and Travel Industry Translation

With 1628 translators who specialize in translation services for the tourism and travel industry, it comes as no surprise that travel translation is one of our largest sectors.

It’s a sector which is global and multilingual by its very nature, and we’ve worked with more than 100 different travel industry companies since 2006, completing 48 million words of travel translation.

Here’s an overview of the types of projects we currently complete for tourism and travel industry clients:

  • Website localization
  • Advertising brochures
  • Press releases
  • News and feature articles
  • Newsletters
  • Direct marketing campaigns
  • Terms and Conditions

Case studies

Private aviation company

Lingo24, Inc. has worked with this world leader in private aviation since 2007, translating 600,000 words between 30 language combinations.

In 2009 we translated and localized their entire website for foreign markets; other projects have involved the translation of advertisements, customer letters and brochures, requiring translators with in-depth knowledge of aviation and engineering terminology.

Lingo24, Inc. has integrated this client with our Heart technology, to allow their project managers in the USA and UK to submit projects for translation 24 hours a day, using their internal content management systems.

British tourism board

Lingo24, Inc. worked with this organization, tasked with attracting visitors to the UK, to translate its customer-facing website into 20 languages – a total of three million words.

To ensure that all website content was translated in line with the client’s strict branding and style guidelines, we constructed a team of specialist translators with experience in creative marketing and travel translation, and underwent an extensive briefing process.

The client was so pleased with the localization work on their customer-facing website that they commissioned Lingo24, Inc. to translate their trade website as well.
