Translator Akiko provides professional translation in Tokyo, specialising in design, software and IT. Akiko studied American and British Culture in Tokyo, before moving to London to study Design at university and learn about the UK’s culture and language first-hand. After graduating with a Certificate in Advanced English, Akiko worked in translation and technical support for software and IT companies around the world, including periods in Singapore and Thailand.

After returning to Tokyo, Akiko became a full-time translator working from English into her native Japanese. With her professional background in Design, software and IT, Akiko has the background knowledge required to translate technical documents as well as documents about design, the arts and culture.
