Heart: Technical Translation Services
For when you need to manage your technical publication needs, Heart is at hand. Its technical translation services automate and streamline the translation process, making your life easier.
Technical translation services can be a tricky business, so here’s where we outline how Heart works for those who are interested what goes on under the hood...
Lingo24, Inc.’s Heart combined two main translation tools: our database-driven Admin system (PHP-based), alongside our computer-assisted translation (CAT) tool, XTM (Java-based).
The XTM modules can be integrated within .Net based or Java systems. It has a modular Open Architecture and fully documented Web Services and APIs.
It’s been built upon Open Standards based around the Open Standards approved by LISA (Localization Industry Standards Association), W3C and OASIS (Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards):
LISA OSCAR xml:tm
LISA OSCAR SRX
LISA OSCAR GMX
LISA OSCAR SRX
These standards, aimed at webpages and products requiring internationalization ensures that the finished product is interchangeable with any other tool you might use that also conforms to these standards.
Already basing your content on W3C Open Standards? Then it’s even easier to integrate with our Heart technology.
And if not, Heart has existing plug-ins for the many Content Management Systems (CMS) which are fully customizable. Got an in-house system? We’ll write your very own plug-in.
And when it comes to Web Services links between your end and ours, Heart will only respond to calls from your end. A passive API will accept and return file transfers via the protocols URL or MTOM (Message Transmission Optimisation Mechanism) file attachments.
Now the technical part’s over with, we’re here to make technical publication services easier. Heart’s progressive, flexible and customizable nature means we can deliver the very best.
